Breeder cages must accommodate natural mating behaviour while making egg collection efficient and nest hygiene manageable. Our A-frame design pairs one male and one female per cage cell, with nest access built into the rear of each unit. The cage geometry is engineered to encourage natural mating posture and reduce male aggression.
Unlike layer cages, breeder systems require more careful structural design — the frame must withstand the additional weight of larger parent stock while maintaining precise alignment across long house runs. We model every breeder cage installation in CAD, producing full elevation drawings, isometrics and material schedules before fabrication begins. The drawing shown above is the actual engineering document we produce for every project.
Breeder cages are supplied with egg collection gutters, nipple drinking lines and manure boards as standard. Our field team installs the complete system and trains your staff on breeding management before handover.
